Welcome to the Smart Meal program! At this point, your organization will have completed a one-hour overview session with Colorado’s Smart Meal program manager.

This site is exclusively for organizations that have met the requirements and have agreed to implement the Smart Meal program. The site contains all of the information and materials you will need in order to recruit restaurants and train your staff. If you are implementing the Smart Meal program outside of Colorado, a CD with modified logos and materials can be sent to you upon request.

The Smart Meal Materials below can be ordered free of charge by visitng www.cohealthresources.org.

 

  • Window decals (limit of two)
  • Smart Meal panel cards in English and Spanish (limit of two each)
  • Smart Meal folders (limit of five)
  • Road map to Healthy Eating and Active Living for communities

Restaurant implementation: Participating (approved) restaurants will have access to limited materials on a separate restaurant site. Smart Meal staff is to give restaurants access to this site only after they have signed the Agreement Form and are on board with the Smart Meal program. On the restaurant site, restaurants will have access to the following:

    • The Sales Data Submission Form interactive or PDF version
      • Restaurants collect sales data and submit via the website, e-mail, fax or post mail
      • Data from these forms is collected in a centralized database and sent to you upon request
                       
 
Now that you have completed the Smart Meal training and have the Smart Meal Restaurant Toolkit and the Supplemental Resource for Implementing Agencies available for your use, you are ready to recruit, train and manage your own restaurants and eating establishments.  For any additional assistance or questions, please contact us.
